Unprecedented Care for your
Unexpected Accidents
How much do you charge?
Our personal injury cases are handled on a contingency fee basis. This means that if we don’t win a claim for you, you won’t owe us anything. There are no up front costs because we understand you haven’t planned for your injury.
Should I give the insurance company a recorded statement?
No. You should not provide a recorded statement to an insurance company without first consulting with Volk & McElroy’s legal team. Do your best to preserve any evidence and when you work with us, we’ll take over all communication with insurance companies.
Should I hire an attorney?
Hiring an attorney is always your choice. An attorney can communicate with the insurance company for you, connect you with the best medical professionals, and help you navigate your medical bills. Having an experienced trial lawyer on your side means your demands for compensation will carry more weight. This drastically improves your ability to negotiate a favorable settlement.
Do I have to appear in court?
Not usually. There is a long legal process before your case ever reaches trial. We evaluate and negotiate your case thoroughly before any court hearing takes place. After our demand process the insurance company will review documents and respond with an acceptance, counter offer, or rejection. Most cases settle out of court. In the event that you do need to appear in court, our experienced legal team will make sure you’re prepared and confident.
